The public works affiliate are the "doers" of county government. They build state wide infrastructure projects like roads, pedestrian trails, bridges, government facilities, etc. In addition they work to maintain existing infrastructure, handle solid waste, animal control, deal with inclement weather removal and flooding, etc. We wanted to create an identity that not so much represented all the "doing" that they do, but rather the peace, structure, and safety of the state that results by what they do.
